Reading can be a boring and sometimes cumbersome given the demand for our undivided attention. But what really “reading” is for? No too long ago during the earlies development of humans, we navigated our lives in unending search or answers, even answers others have arrived at before, but there were no trace that we could build upon. The evolution of writings, gave us an opportunity to save and convey ideas to one another through the length times we may or may not live into. These information have help improved civilization on a more rapid pace and given us a sense of our past.
But apart from gathering information, there is another essential benefit from the act of reading: Meditation and Mindfulness.
